Year 6 Sailing

Year 6 all enjoyed a sailing treat at Lake Hume relishing the calm waters and sunshine for their sailing and paddle boarding adventure in Term 4. Each class headed out on different days. Our thanks to the Albury Wodonga Yacht Club for their expertise and guidance showing Year 6 “the ropes”. Students had a go at paddleboarding or worked in pairs, alternating between working as skipper or crew, sailing an Optimus 1000 dinghy. There was lots of teamwork and laughter at the Weir. A great time was had by all making it a perfect end to the year.
