Cross Country Carnival 2025
A fantastic afternoon at the Cross Country Carnival saw record participation with students across the whole College stepping up to run.On 26th March, Victory hosted our whole College Cross Country Carnival. The afternoon was a huge success even with the weather showing no signs of cooling down. Our students from Foundation to Year 12 battled our new courses, enjoying the change of scenery when running through La Trobe University’s campus.
We had an increase in participation this year which was a great sign for the events growth for future years to come, both on and off the track!
Whilst Murray won the Primary Shield, the Secondary Shield and overall winner for the second year in a row, was Kiewa! A huge congratulations to Kiewa for once again leading the way!
The SRC jumped on board this year and completed a massive job preparing and running activity stations on the oval with the help of Mrs Julie Burrows and Mr Will Hampton. They provided students with House coloured Zinc for extra sun protection and lawn games while they waited for their race to be marshalled. Most popular and much appreciated was the SRC post race Zooper Doopers.
And last, but not least, many thanks to the parents/carers who supported the day. The cheers and encouragement added to the atmosphere, making the Carnival a wonderful afternoon for our College community.
