Record Attendance at Open Day
Thank you to our students and staff for welcoming prospective families to Open DayOn Tuesday, 25th March, Victory hosted our annual Open Day, welcoming prospective families to explore our vibrant learning environment. The event was a tremendous success, with overall attendance surpassing the record set in 2024.
Across the Morning and Twilight sessions, an impressive 140 families - nearly 400 guests - visited the College, expressing keen interest in enrolling their children for 2026 and beyond. Notably, interest in Year 7 enrolments saw a significant boost, highlighting the growing appeal of our Secondary School.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to everyone who contributed to the success of Open Day, particularly our dedicated student tour guides who warmly welcomed visitors. Their enthusiasm and knowledge played a key role in making guests feel at home.
Guests were treated to a range of engaging activities hosted by students and staff across various learning spaces. From captivating Orchestra and Drama rehearsals to the Art Making & Exhibiting students diligently working on their portfolios, there was much to see and experience. The VET Trade block in Stinson, Outdoor Education display and archery on Luther Oval, and the Argus Learning Centre showcasing senior subjects further highlighted the College’s diverse academic and extracurricular offerings.
Although our guests could not visit the Eagle Art Centre extension (so close to completion), our amazing facilities left a lasting impression.
The Principal’s Address by Mr Brad Moss was another highlight of Open Day, drawing a packed audience in Luther Hall. His insightful speech resonated with attendees, further igniting interest in our College’s vision and values.
Our talented VET Hospitality students were kept extraordinarily busy providing delicious refreshments, and certainly stepped up and relished the challenge of the record attendance.
Overall, Open Day 2025 was a fantastic opportunity to showcase Victory. We look forward to welcoming new students in the coming years and continuing to foster a thriving learning community.
