Kiewa win the Cross Country Carnival
In the narrowest of margins and quite possibly a shock upset, Kiewa has won the whole College Cross Country CarnivalKiewa took out the honours in both the Primary and Secondary schools giving them a clear win for the overall title. In the last six years (not including 2020 when COVID-19 cancelled the Carnival), Kiewa has won only the Secondary School category in 2017 & 2018. So the cheers that erupted from the Primary school were loud and clear.
It was a terrific afternoon the weather providing perfect conditions for running.
One particular highlight was the Foundation students having their Year 12 Super Buddy wave them off at the starting line at their first-ever Carnival. There was also one brave Pied-Piper student to run with them to double-double check they set off in the right direction!
Congratulations to Kiewa and to everyone who gave their best effort.
