In the Art Gallery: Year 6
Year 6 showcase one of their three photography challenges.Victory is proud to present our online art gallery showcasing the creativity and flair of Primary and Secondary students.
During COVID-19, taking time to reflect or create art, read a book, go for a walk or enjoy physical activity can have a positive impact on the well-being of students and their families. Teachers have seen a significant engagement with the Arts Teaching & Learning programme by students and we are sure, these artworks will delight and impress you with their inherent joy and expression.
Year 6 Photography Challenge: Get Close
Each week, Year 6 students participated in a series of media arts photography challenges. Each challenge had a different focus on how to be successful with tricks, tips and hints.
Photography Challenge I Get close and then Get Closer.
Photographers often get uncomfortably close to their subjects. When shooting a compelling close-up, we experimented with getting close and then getting even closer again, so that an area of the composition is hazy and out of focus. HINT: Think photography YOGA!
