Carols@theCollege 2024
How fabulous to see a Luther Hall full for our Carols@theCollege in our final week of the school year.
Our 2025 College Captains, College Vice Captains and Faith Leaders did a fabulous job as MCs for the evening, sharing their best Christmas Dad jokes and puns. It was terrific to see so many of our families enjoying the carol singing and music by our Primary and Secondary students, staff and members of the Wodonga Lutheran Parish band.
The Foundation to Year 2 nativity was such a special highlight, as students performed the story of Christ’s birth with a special perspective this year from the animals in the manager. Dressed in their Christmas colours, Foundation to Year 2 sparkled like the Christmas star above and our Year 2 student speakers were amazing, confidently delivering their own lines.
Years 3 & 4 Vocal Ensemble completed the carols with a fun rendition of ‘Aussie Jingle Bells’ and ‘We Wish You A Merry Christmas’ which was accompanied in Auslan.
We hope everyone enjoyed the evening. The time shared afterwards on Luther Oval with games, sausage sizzle in the Hangar, outdoor games and catch up with families was a wonderful finale to 2024. It was an unforgettable evening, reminding us all of the true spirit of Christmas.
